In fact, there's only one Kiwi in the class. Dead cultural, us.
So yep, here a chance to better acquaint myself with the different cultures of the world, and I, me, the person who was part of the only English family in a whole council estate, am too shy to talk to any because when I do, they frown and shake their heads. Poor Jane.
Quite why people from France, Germany, Portugal and Brazil chose to come to THE most isolated and uninteresting (once you get over the amazing scenery and stuff) country, as opposed to nearer, way more interesting England, is beyond me. Maybe it's the thrill of going all the way to the opposite side of the world, away from everything.
I know my friend AJ is certainly feeling the culture, conversations with her filled with proclamations of delight for the beautiful German exchange student at her school. Hopefully some of these exotic people will motivate the less fortunate of us who have not been able to experience anything out of even the South Island, to go out there and travel and meet more beautiful people and learn languages and just be brilliant.
On a more personal note, I saw the beautiful Sam today. Since the 3rd of July my friends, isn't that fantastic XD
As this blog is pretty much my head except in digital form, I was thinking that maybe I would just start writing some of my stories in. That would certainly bring the tone of Xanga down. It would turn me on. In kind of weird way.
Well this is it until next time, I have more to say, but that wouldn't just be tedious, but also mind-numbing and repetitive.
So, like a poo that just won't go, I remain at the keys of my computer, eagerly awaiting another day to tip-tap away. Until I need to go to the poo parlour division or the piddly-diddly department.
Love, Plain Jane.

Blog 1

I woke up today thinking about Kiki Kannibal. Does she spell that right, apart from the obvious intentional swapping of "c" for "k", probably done for some kid of ironic effect? I do wish these "scene" people would stop fxcking with their names, it's really annoying. It doesn't make you sound cooler at all. Probably if you had that name yourself you'd be very unimpressed.
My dad is currently taken with this legal thing here in NZ, a naming debate. Some parents decided to call their child 'Talula Who Does The Hula In Hawaii', which did depress the child somewhat, so she got it court ordered changed. I thought that was pretty bum. That name was pretty individual, and it isn't as if she couldn't pretend she had another name. She did, she told her friends it was K. But each to their own, I guess. Read the full story and have some lolz at the other names here; http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/07/24/talula-nz-name.html Personally, I think Sex Fruit is a great name :}
I'm considering changing my name. I don't know if it's actually worth the fuss, unless they go and change all your details on everything yourself. And then what name would I even have? There are so many, and I'd only end up regretting it. I could just give myself a middle name, that'd be pretty cool. I just love names, I have this lifelong dream of, when I have a child, giving it 26 names- one for every letter of the alphabet. Someone shat on this once, telling me that you have restrictions on how many names you can have. I can't remember who. But, in the words of my father, ONLY IN NEW ZEALAND.
I think I'll just stick with Jane. Plain Jane Illusion :) Pen name, that is, I'm not revealing my real name on a site full of 13 year old annoyances.

Yours, Plain Jane
Friday, July 25, 2008

Hello :)
Here I'll be writing ALL about stuff that happens, funnily enough. And then when nothing happens (probably more often than not), I'll just ramble. That'll be pretty exciting.
Tata,
Niffy.
